Get High–But Not With Us

Posted by Kerrigan Behrens on

While Bob Marley certainly produced some incredible music, his image and association with getting high haven't helped shed light on how the cannabis plant can provide effective and clean health benefits.

In fact, one of the biggest misconceptions we hear about is the confusion between hemp and marijuana and the mistaken belief that there is no difference between the two plants.

The reason we feel that this distinction is SO important is that many people are missing out on fast pain relief options because they are worried that using a product from the cannabis plant species could get them high.

And it’s completely understandable they think that but we want to clear up the confusion.

Sagely Products Will NOT Get You High

Because after all, our mission is to get people back to doing what they love while creating a product that even your Mom would feel comfortable displaying in her medicine cabinet!

And that's why we have gone to extra lengths to make sure there is zero chance you could get high from using any of our products.

But first, let us clear up the confusion we believe surrounds hemp and marijuana...

You could compare the similarities of hemp and marijuana to the similarities of an orange and a lemon.

You know how an orange and a lemon are both citrus fruits? How they are similar, yet different? How an orange has more Vitamin C and less citric acid, while a lemon has less Vitamin C but more citric acid?

Hemp and marijuana are also similar but have some distinct differences. While both plants are part of the Cannabis Sativa plant species, the fundamental difference between hemp (what Sagely products are made of) and marijuana is the percentage of THC (the component that makes you high) found in each plant.

  • Hemp contains more CBD (the component that brings balance safely back to the body) and less THC (the psychoactive element), while
  • Marijuana contains more THC (the psychoactive element) and less CBD.

Moral of the story:

    • THC is what’s in marijuana that makes you feel high
    • Hemp has less than 0.3% THC, while most marijuana has over 15% THC - CBD has ZERO ability to get you high
    • Interesting enough, CBD even is considered an ANTI-psychotic: i.e. if you're ‘high’ and use CBD, it'll make you less high.

Our Product Is Legal in All 50 States

To be considered part of the HEMP plant in the United States the plant has to contain less than .3% THC. Even so, with all Sagely products, we go the extra step to remove ALL trace amounts of THC from the CBD oil that our products are made out of before we infuse it into our products.

We test the oil when it gets to our door, then again when it’s in the product to ensure that it still has 0.0% THC.

Moral of the story:

  • We use hemp, not marijuana, at Sagely Naturals
  • Our products contain no THC (not even trace elements).
  • You can get high, but not with us!

We are proud that this is why Sagely Naturals can safely and legally ship our Relief & Recovery products to all 50 states.

So if you want fast pain relief that works both short, medium and long-term without compromising your health or getting you high, we invite you to give one of our products a try and let us know what you think!

Because undesirable side effects shouldn’t have to be part of the deal when you’re trying to get on top of your pain and back doing the things that matter to you most.
